Activities for Lakeview Students

At Lakeview Elementary, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom. Our diverse range of programs and activities is designed to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and support the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally.

Debate/Speech

Our Debate and Speech Club empowers students to find their voice and express their ideas with clarity and confidence. Through friendly competitions and guided practice, students develop critical thinking, public speaking, and persuasive communication skills that will serve them for a lifetime.

Drama

Creativity takes center stage in our Drama Program! Students explore storytelling, character development, and stagecraft while building teamwork and self-expression. 

Gifted and Talented Education (GATE)

The GATE program at Lakeview Elementary provides enriched learning experiences for students who demonstrate exceptional academic abilities. With a focus on inquiry-based learning, problem-solving, and creative thinking, GATE students are challenged to reach their full potential in a supportive and stimulating environment.

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

We are committed to nurturing not just academic success, but emotional well-being. Our SEL supports help students develop empathy, resilience, self-awareness, and positive relationships. Through classroom lessons, small group sessions, and school-wide initiatives, we create a caring community where every student feels seen, heard, and valued.
